First-principles theory for topology optimization and structural mechanics
I start with governing equations before I trust a contour plot. My writing connects topology optimization and generative design to variational mechanics, convexity, KKT conditions, and sensitivity analysis, then follows the math into credible engineering decisions. I challenge convenient heuristics, clarify assumptions, and aim to give researchers a common theoretical language for comparing methods without losing sight of manufacturable structures.
